A: Jon Vidar Bråthen, 56.
Q: Education:
A: Bachelor’s in informatics, Halden University College.
Q: Why did you choose this study?
A: I had taken the newly established IT field of study in high school in 1986 and became completely hooked on Norsk Data computer machines with Sintran.
Q: Why did you apply for a job at DNB?
A: I worked 25 years with software development of the same ERP system suite and was fascinated by the large IT landscape at DNB and the opportunity to work with many different “things”.
Q: What is the most exciting thing you have worked on at DNB?
A: IPA Platform, DNBs self-service Data & Analytics Platform.
Q: Why should technologists apply for a job at DNB?
A: At DNB you have the opportunity to work with many very talented people in a multi-cultural environment. You may face challenges with a wide range of technologies, and you have the opportunity to work both "IT geeky" and in close collaboration with different business areas.
Q: What should one do to end up in the job you have?
A: Keep abreast of IT technologies and trends, as well as having a desire to create a team spirit that allows you to jointly safeguard a holistic lifecycle responsibility and ensure customer value for the services within your area of responsibility.
